Calling all lifers and LNK fans!

Are you heading to a show/event soon? (Perhaps it’s one of the many shows our favourite band Fall Out Boy is playing?) How would you feel about promoting LNK at that show? And earning yourself free prints and shirts?

Here’s how it will work:

First you fill in this form, and we’ll send you a stack of flyers to hand out to kids at the show. (Take some pictures of people with the flyer you gave them and send us at least 5, and you’ve won your first free print.)

Your stack of flyers will have a discount code on it that is unique to you, and each time someone uses it in the LNK store, you’ll get a free print! (Your pick of these)

PLUS when your code is used 10 times, you’ll also get a free shirt! Your pick of any in the store. (and if your code is used 20 times, you’ll get two free shirts. and so on and so on)

We’re looking for people who truly believe in LNK to spread the word to other people you think might like it. Given the inspiration behind many of the designs, Fall Out Boy shows will be full of future LNK fans! But feel free to hand out flyers at any show you think will be appropriate :) You don’t have to own LNK shirts already to take part in this (in fact, doing this promo could mean you get yourself a free one to wear next time!)

If you’ve ever thought about buying some of the older LNK items, now’s your last ever chance! Sadly, the amazing Verboom on Cuba Street in Wellington is closing its storefront so I’ll no longer be able to pop in and get tshirts made by my buddy Phil. I owe Verboom a LOT. LNK wouldn’t really exist without Phil and all the awesome help he’s given me, and all the tshirts he’s printed for me over the years.

I retired most of the older LNK collections from the store a wee while ago, but if there’s anything you remember seeing that you’d like made available again, let me know and I’m happy to put it back up. You’ve got about 3 days to buy anything you always wanted from the vinyl collections before I have to say goodbye to them, and to Phil and Verboom. So go at it kids :)

This collection has been a long time coming, but finally, I’m thrilled to announce the new LNK collection “Crowds & Connections” is now up for sale in the LNK store.

As you may have seen me mention before, this is a line I definitely feel a deep emotional connection to, and I hope you do too. It’s all about that sense of belonging we feel being a part of this music scene. It’s about that feeling of being in a crowd of people but still feeling connected to the band, to your friends next to you in the mosh pit, to the strangers you haven’t met yet, even just to yourself. It’s about connecting with people all over the world and talking with someone for hours about your favourite band, without even knowing anything else about them. It’s about knowing there are other people out there who understand what it’s like to fall head over heels in love with a band, with a song, even with a particular lyric. It’s about the lifers (those of us who will be here til the bitter end). It’s about the Liner Note Kids.

There will be more detailed explanations of each specific design to come tomorrow after I’ve had some sleep. But for now, take a look at the designs and let me know what you think below. I hope you love them as much as I do.

This quote sums up the next line pretty nicely. It’s definitely been an emotional one for me to design, and hopefully you guys feel a connection to it like I do. I’m aiming to release it by mid November, but we’ll see how it goes. definitely can’t rush this one.
