“You call it a band, a venue and a Friday night. We call it our soundtrack, our home and the only life we know”
    - Christopher Gutierrez of DeadxStop Publishing

I first read this quote a few years ago, and it stuck with me ever since. It perfectly sums up this scene we love being a part of.

Chris was so stoked on this design that he asked if he could sell some prints of it. i think there are still a few available here

Once you’re hooked on this music scene, you’re here for life. Here til the bitter end. Inspired by retro baseball team shirts (because we’re a team aren’t we?) this type was hand drawn, and printed on the tshirt in a grungy black ink.

“It was the roar of the crowd that gave me heartache to sing”
    - My Chemical Romance, Disenchanted

I’ve always loved this lyric. Most of the Crowds & Connections line is about how music feels from a fans point of view, and I like that this one represents the artist, and also inspires us as fans to keep on supporting, to keep on screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs, to go to every show we can and to never give up on our favourite band (*ahem* even if they’ve been on hiatus for years).

Available in other colourways if you wish, all you have to do is ask!

To some this is a Kanye lyric, to others it’s something Pete says in Live In Phoenix before telling us to stand for our national anthem, and to everyone else; it’s just a f**kn rad shirt.

Whatever it means to you, this shirt is about living in the moment at a show; putting your all into dancing and moshing and feeling the vibe. Metallic silver print on a black tee.

  • Antler Boy

    Girls | Guys

Fall Out Boy fans will automatically recognise these antlers from a certain music video. I’ve always loved that Antler Boy (like many of us) is a misfit, who learns to love himself for who he is. And also, his antler’s just look friggin’ awesome on a tshirt don’t you think? The print is a black grungy halftone that captures the texture of the antlers.

  • This collection has been a long time coming, but finally, I’m thrilled to announce the new LNK collection “Crowds & Connections” is now up for sale in the LNK store.
As you may have seen me mention before, this is a line I definitely feel a deep emotional connection to, and I hope you do too. It’s all about that sense of belonging we feel being a part of this music scene. It’s about that feeling of being in a crowd of people but still feeling connected to the band, to your friends next to you in the mosh pit, to the strangers you haven’t met yet, even just to yourself. It’s about connecting with people all over the world and talking with someone for hours about your favourite band, without even knowing anything else about them. It’s about knowing there are other people out there who understand what it’s like to fall head over heels in love with a band, with a song, even with a particular lyric. It’s about the lifers (those of us who will be here til the bitter end). It’s about the Liner Note Kids.
There will be more detailed explanations of each specific design to come tomorrow after I’ve had some sleep. But for now, take a look at the designs and let me know what you think below. I hope you love them as much as I do.

  • “If for one minute you think you’re better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day t-shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn’t know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about.”

    ― Gerard Way

This quote sums up the next line pretty nicely. It’s definitely been an emotional one for me to design, and hopefully you guys feel a connection to it like I do. I’m aiming to release it by mid November, but we’ll see how it goes. definitely can’t rush this one.
